3/4 ton swap on a 91 project under way

i went to the scrap yard to start ripping in to my parts truck and found out a few thing but first let me say what i am doing

i have a 1991 gmc extended cab long bed 4x4 i am putting 3/4 axles from a 89 under it along with the back springs

i found out that the wheel hubs are different which means i have to swap the spindles 2 but the ball joints are different so i am going to measeure to see if i can swap A arms if not then ball joints r gettin mod i plan to post pic soon and keep u up to date tell me what u think

you're going to have such a headache.

while you were under there, did you measure the springs eye to eye?
i think they used both 52 and 56 inch springs depending on the gvwr.
you may have a lot of fabbing and cutting in your future.

i am keeping my half ton main and adding it to the 3/4 stack

my only question was which one was getting the beef?? very nice playtoy though. (the truck)

update on the project all is out of my parts truck the only issue is the the upper ball joint is a little different but i did some measureing and it should work hope to get pics tomorrow
