| removing rear shackles on a 86 chevy c10. when i remove the rear shackle will the leaf spring move?(like shoot up or down or anything or will it stay still)? |

| as long as you have the frame lifted up and not the axle or hub, than no. it isnt going to go balistic on you. but make sure that you are lifting it from the frame. idea is is to have as much tension off that leaf pack as possible so it doesnt go bananas. |

| shackel support the frame at the back ,put a jack under the Axel near the end of the Axel to support it when the shackle is loose .do only one side at a time . |
