| 2002 Chevy Silverado 2WD, brake issue I need help. My 2002 Chevy Sliverado 2WD exibits the following symptoms. Brakes malfunction below 5mph. Turn right brakes fade (no pedal), turn left brakes apply. This is at very low speeds (parking lot speeds). The problem occurs when exiting a low speed sharp turn (pulling into a parking space), when you straighten the wheel the pedal goes to the floor. The truck has been lowered 3" (Beltech lowering system), and the wheel bearing assemblies were replaced when the truck was lowered. Less than 10,000mi on new suspension. There is no binding on the front brake hoses. Disabled ABS (via fuse) and the result was the same. Thanks in advance. Last edited by joemcmillen; 07-03-2009 at 09:22 AM. |
