muffler for my 05 silverado 5.3L

got a 05 chevy pickup with the 5.3L engine and im having a **** of a time deciding what muffler to put on my beast. so many brands and all sound different. looking for pretty strong exterior noise and a little quite inside the cab. heard flowmaster doesnt give any performance gains just sound. thought about going with the super 40 flowmaster but i being told not too. idk. yo help me out guys.

not a bad thing the super fortys, also check out dunomax ultraflow series, dynomax only makes exhaust systems that make power, if they R&D one that doesn`t they scrap it.

I LOVE my ultraflow!

Gibson .... Throaty outside and very friendly in the interior.. Not like the all too common BlowMasters you here everywhere. Little on the pricey side but I love mine!

Gibsons certainly sound good and install nicely, but i have heard the aluminized units are not lasting very long, tending to fail from corrosion. if you do go, go stainless!
