Transmission trouble

I've got a 94 Chevy 2500 5.7 liter gas engine with a 2000# Lance camper permanently attached. Now the transmission seems to be making some noises and having trouble generating power on inclines. Any ideas for things I should seek to upgrade the transmission when it's replaced? Thanks for any suggestions.

I recommend a transgo shift kit, they make a tow/rv model that would make the trans alot stronger after rebuilt.plus maybe install a auxilary cooler to keep her cooler (longer life). or a derale tranmission pan, they make some very good deep sump extra cooling pans.

Welcome to the forum and howdy from TEXAS. And place The Beast sun shell if you have it rebuilt the OEM sun shells are always giving out. DON'T go with a B&M kit there cheap do what stump wrote.
