    how do i remove the door windows in a 86 chevy c10?

    i need help removing manual door window in a 86 chevy c10 single. help!!!

    remove the door panel, unbolt the window regulator from the door. Make sure you have an extra hand if possible becuase the glass is fairly heavy. once the regulator is unbolted you can use the handle to crank the regulator and you will see (in the middle of the glass frame) a cut out for the wheel to come out. once you have one wheel out you can slide the regulator assy which ever way necessary to remove the other wheel. I'm not sure if you will need to remove the vent window first or not though. It has been several years since I have done this.

    if you take the inner panel off, you will see the regulator that holds window in track.
    look on the track and you will see notches foe the window wheels, crank window up or down till wheels line up to slots and remove window
