 | grinding i have a grinding in my 93 z71s front end when 4x4 is engaged. it becomes louder when in a turn. differential and transfer case are both full of fluid. could the cv joints be the culprits? thanks much in advance to anyone who takes time to reply |

 | I`d remove the front drive shaft and see if one of the u-joints is seized/rusted up, that front diff oil was clean? Last edited by stumpuller454; 08-13-2009 at 07:46 AM. |

| Yeah the oil was ok. No slivers or anything. The u joints could stand to be replaced actually. |
