| 1962 Chevrolet C10 Front drum brakes -> Front Disc brake conversion. One of my buddy's friend wants a brake conversion done so we are to the rescue. Just thought I would share some pics. I really miss turning wrenches so this was a welcomed job. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Do your buddy a favor and stick a grommet in that firewall hole to keep the sharp edges away from those wires.

| If you can't find the right grommet to fit there, grab a block of duct seal and use that. (Duct seal is a clay like material used for filling holes in foundations, etc. when running cable through. Waterproof, handles heat well, pretty sticky. You can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot in the electrical department)

| More Pix. ![]() ![]() I guess we are also converting it to power brakes but we ran into a little bit of an issue mounting the booster. My buddy is going to make a plate to bolt the booster to then the plate to the firewall. Hope it works
