Erratic A/C Hello Everyone I'm new to the forums and have a problem with my 06 Chevy 3500 Duramax. The A/C will be working fine then the mixers must get the wrong signal and it changes from cold air to heated air. Sometimes just the passenger side is affected sometime both. Usually I turn off the truck and restart and it's back to cold air. I have removed the fuse for the a/c circuit for awhile and reinstalled but that did not help....any ideas? Taildragger

Welcome to the forum and howdy from TEXAS. My bothers HD was doing the same thing so when it happened once he turned up the heat all the way then he put it back to cool and it fixed it. It's a electronic part that's messing up you might call the dealership and see if there is a recall on it or service bulletin. Good luck! GMC

I was pulling a wagon load of soybeans today and was running the a/c and the passenger side started putting out hot air so I turned the temp control all the way up as suggested and then back down and sure enough it changed to cool air. So I guees I'll call the dealer since it is covered by warranty. Thanks for all the help taildragger
