32 code does not actually check EGR,
ECM compares what it's trying to get from EGR by looking at MAP.
Code will remain for 50 keycycles after actual fault, then self-clear.
Code sets after 2 failures of test at 10-25% steady throttle,
above 32mph, MAP 15kPa<>47.5kPa, desired EGR command > 93%.

Start by checking for good connection at MAP R-side by dist (3wire:Gry,Grn,Ppl)
and EGR solenoid (2wire:Pnk/Blk,Gry), then check vac hoses.
If applying a direct vac to EGR should be able to see it move with mirror.
closed<2", full open>8.5" .
May want to remove and clean EGR valve.

A search for EGR in forum threads will pull up a lot of info & experiences.

This is the most helpful info. I have seen, seeing as how I was going to ask does a TBI have a MAF sensor. I too have the dreded 32 code but haven't found time to fix my own vehicle.
