I'm not sure what you mean about fuses or breakers for the injector rails, please explain more, I have not changed anything with the injector rails.

I may just purchase a new ignition coil and module, probably a module first. Is there any thing that would think make you think I need to replace the distributor shaft or is that not likely the problem??

I'd try the module first. I believe it's cheaper than the coil and I've seen more of the modules fail than I have coils.

Not sure about the code for misfire on OBD 1, and I think OBD II started in 96 did it not??? But certainly first things first. I would check for any stored codes and start right there.

Problem solved......... I had my ignition module tested and after testing it 4 times it still was passing. They were nice enough to warranty the part after me describing the issue to them and sure enough installing a new ignition module solved my problem, I have since taken it on four 1 hour "test drives" and it hasn't acted up. So even though the part was passing it was failing under actual driving conditions that couldn't be simulates. I'm just happy it quite the misfiring, no one likes a misfiring auto..........

You know what happens to a lifetime warranty when the part "dies", right?

You: "My part died, I need a new one"

Store: "Our condolences. The new one is $59.95"

You: "No, it's free. I had a lifetime warranty on it."

Store: "Right. And now it's dead, so its 'lifetime' is over. That'll be $59.95"

You: "But the warranty says you're supposed to give me a new one for free! It's LIFETIME!"

Store: "Yeah, right. It's a lifetime warranty, I got that. But you said it yourself, the part is dead. If the part is dead then its lifetime is over, and so is the warranty. Now, if the part were still alive, then yes, the lifetime warranty would still be in effect, because it's not dead. But the part is dead, so it doesn't have a warranty anymore. How could something that's dead have a LIFEtime warranty? That'd be impossible."

You: "Take VISA?"
