I think you are making referance to a movie, and for the life of me, I can not remember it. Baseball and the rich kid, with the dweebs. They sat on that kids face, let off some emmsions and said it was like beef stew.

Nope... just a reference to you looking at "pinion yokes" and "differential housings"

You are certainly correct. My sincerest apoligies for my part. As soon as the OP (Original Poster) gets back, I am sure we'll be happy to hook him back up and get back on track.

i checked the rear pinion yoke it look sfine and has a little play when you turn it back and forth and when i do that i hear the sound i have been hearing (just not as loud) when i come to a stop....is this just normal gear lash in there rear end???

All depends how loud it is. From your desription, I am thinking no its not normal. I am just wondering if its not something in the trans. Do you know if you have a G80 locking differeential? Maybe part of it has come or coming apart.
