I think we need a lot more info here before we can offer any advice.

How about some better info on the truck, like model, engine and tranny? And some symptoms? Doesn't run? Doesn't run well? Doesn't crank? Flames shoot out the radiator cap? You know... info that will give us a clear picture of what you're looking at there. You're our eyes, ears and nose on this. What do you see? Hear? Smell?

You have never seen that before. Here is the technical reason for that, you see you end up with a head gasket leak and some of the combustible gas gets into your cooling system, then the heat created by the engine causes the fumes to combust into flames only upon opening the rad. cap. See that instant mix of oxygen and the gas. . . Oh so beautiful.

Now if you can buy that I can sell you anything.

Cool, that ought to not be so hard if that is all that is wrong. I am going to have some fun on my 85 K-10 when I work on it. Whoever pulled the motor and trans, just started snipping wires. I figure its going to be best to get a new harness for the engine compartment. Good Luck with yours, do update us as to if it fixed it or not.
