Will a obd2 scanner read fuel system problems

I am wondering if the scanner can give me readings telling me if a fuel pump is working or not ?

(Duel fuel tank)

OBD2 code reader?? no it will not. you should be able to here the pump prime up from sitting overnight though. they also make fuel pressure testers that can be rented from autozone for nothing.

why not hook up a pressure tester to it?? they rent for nothing and hook straight up to the fuel rail.

Oh yea forgot you mentioned that ok so it hooks up to the fuel rail? Now the question is do you need to replace the whole unit or just the pump? also would the main FSU control the pump on Second tank ?
