i think you can find a better deal somewhere down the line. besides, you are going to need that truck when it comes to moving time.

I have another one I was planning on using to move. Right now we need a second vehicle. But yes, I do agree that I can do better.

How cool would this be? Keep the Blazer’s outward appearance the same. Even keep the stock rims and tires as they are. Bring the suspension down just a bit so it hugs the ground a little better. Not a lot that is real noticeable. Then tune the suspension with a mixture of aftermarket parts and home remedies so it corners better and sticks a little better. The let it breathe by installing a cold air intake and a true dual exhaust with an X pipe. Install a chip and a few other odds and ends that bolt on. After that dial in the tranny’s shift patterns and install a Dynatrack locker. That would be one fun little blazer.
I know, I know, I should stop dreaming, but that is something I have been wanting to do.

This guy is on crack! I laid out a deal for him that would require him to trade his Blazer, and some money. It was not very much either, i just wanted to make sure I had something to drive to school in. He tells me he has some one willing to pay in $3400 for that Blazer. Come on. I could not find one any where with in a 300 mile search selling for more that $1700. This is why I hate dealing with people and trying to sell or trade off these trucks. I get asshats like this guy who thinks they can give me **** and get gold in return. I cannot wait until I have nothing left to sell off. I am so sick of dealing with idiots.

I have had the same exact same thing happen to me before. Like in your case, I get that line of crud, then I usually just start shutting hoods and doors, and they keep looking and walking around, and I say, well hey sorry to have wasted your time. Huh??? Well you say you had some willing to pay $3400 for your Blazer, I sure won't insult you with my offer, and I think you'd be about the dumbest person I ever met if you did not jump all over that deal. You need to borrow my phone to call the guy and let him know you are on your way??? Naw, Naw, its OK. Oh, yeah I figured it was, then I thank them for coming and walk back in the house.

Man I tell you, the people that crawl out from under rocks to "make a deal" have about driven me to the edge. I had some asswad a couple of weeks ago offer me a; at best $900 truck for my $4000 duece. When I told him I would not make an even trade and I could not really do much with hsi truck he cussed me out and acted like I did something wrong. I was even nice to him, which is not usual. The sad thing is, I still have oh so very much to sell off.

I look at a lot of vehicles on Craigslist and I can tell you all a few stories, lol.

When he said someone had offered 3400 I'd have had to laugh and tell him he should have already grabbed it. I've had a Blazer and I didn't care for the gas milage, the way it handled or the size. I know a lot of Chevy lovers don't want to hear it but I prefer an explorer over a blazer...

I can't say, since I have not had an Exploder, but I know my mother had one of those 4x4 Blazers, and I hated it. Did not like the handling and it seemed like a gutless wonder to me. Had several very pricey repairs too and what I'd call low mileage.

I would also prefer an explorered or better yet a Bronco II. I just figured this guy was offering this one and I need a good vehicle for going to school. Oh well, I guess I am on to the next idiot.

I wouldn't do it that Blazer isn't worth that much.
Good luck! GMC
