i apologize if i took the comments the wrong way. i've been struggling with this for a few days now and in my advanced years contorting between the seat and under the dash isn't fun anymore. once again i apologize.

ok. now, after finally getting everything back together. took it for a spin. after about 5 minutes with the heater off the flashing stopped. display was normal. turned heater on,flashing started again but had all fan speeds including max. thinking it has something to do with the pressure so, going to wait until i recharge the system before i start buying and tearing apart. thanx all for the help.

Since I too suffer from an excessive year count I can understand geting bent out of shape after getting bent out of shape. Don't worry a bunch about the apology we have reasonably thick skins for stuff in fun. Just be aware we keep the really tough guys in a different forum. Here we play nice. We also have young kids as part of audience. Since your setup worked before the project, it is highly likely that a connection was forgotten, or tugged loose by accident. While juggling the air boxes for access, that mode door motor could easily have been stretched. On left end of box.

Good info on update. Argues more evidence for loose connections. You will get 3 times of flashing on that head as built in warnings: mode, temp, freon. Driving rattles connections, could be why fan now right.

howdy back from port aransas tx phew had some major fear going there for a while ninja. lol i must admit to major brain cramp. apparently when i routed the harness it affected the mode and heater controls. they both use the same plug but when you reverse where they go things don't work as they should. charged the system mode works fine now, getting 40f at the vents, fan works as it should. only problem now is cold and heater control is flashing all arrows and stays cold. resetting ecm maybe flashing will go away. thanks all.
