'94 K2500 Chevy truck question

`94, 4X4, 350 V8, AT, 3/4 ton, Ex-Cab 2door, AC, TBI type...
This truck is only used for my RV, hunting & fishing in the boondocks where there are only jeep trails and all 4X4, so I have to be extra careful with maintenance. If something breaks, I have three choices, fix it myself, abandon the truck forever, or rent a chinook helicopter to fly it out.
I`m at 120k miles, I have replaced the Serp. Belt, Tensioner, Water Pump & Alternator & AC pump. All 4 wheel bearings are new. Battery is new last year. Tuneups are regular. Column mounted Ignition Switch has been replaced. Fuel pump is new. I carry the Distributor ignition module with me as a spare. I monitor my oil consumption and compression. I`m thinking about replacing the Starter just as a preventive measure. Tranny fluid is real nice pink.
How long does the factory starter last ? Here are my specs:

I have the same year truck and same engine. My starter quit last year at a little over 150,000 miles. It was the original starter.... I will add that it gave me no warning. Started it one minute, nothing the next.

had a 91 with over 350K miles that used the factory starter. i seen one that fried at 35K miles. perhaps a manual would have been a better choice if you are worried about it starting. i have driven several manuals that was missing the starter. just had to find a hill where ever i parked it.
