Ya know... I just realized that this is a K1500

When you changed the rear, did you make sure it was the same ratio? If not, first time you put her in 4x4 you stand a good chance of breaking that new joint...

If the guys who design 'em had to take one home, use it every day for 2 years, and do all the maint and repairs themselves, cars would have a button on the dash to change the oil, filters & plugs.

Thanks GMC and X2 on what Berrnie said.

I have both probs. My front drive shaft is out until I can afford to regear my front end and a 9" suspension lift "Fs" up the geometry in such a short distance especially.
