Problem starting

I have a 88 1500 silverado. I have a problem getting my engine to start. It turns over, but just won't catch. If I leave the throttle alone then it spurts every rotation or so, but if I hold it at WOT then it just turns over and over with no spurts.

The timing is set a 0 degrees, and the only thing I can see that may be wrong is that it looks as if the injectors are dripping and not spraying.

Any help is appreciated.

I would check pressure at fuel rail. Kinda sounds like a bad fuel pump. But could be injecter stopped up. When you first turn ignition switch to run position, can you hear the fuel pump running? If not thats probably your problem. Its located in the fuel tank.

Hey I had this same problem with my 90 silverado. I thought it was the fuel pump but it was actaully the fuel pump relay switch. Try replacing it, it only costs abotu $15. Also clean up ur cap. Mine was relay corrodide, i replaced it and now it starts like new

you set your timing at 0 degrees?? ive never seen one set so late. most are set about 10 degrees btdc. setting it at 0 doesnt allow the fuel enough time to combust like it should. but then you may have an exception ive never heard of. try adjusting it before you buy new parts.
