best lift for an 05 z71

I just bought an 05 z71 and I'm shopping around for a lift, what is the best bang for my buck I can get in a lift. I am thinking of a 4 or 6 inch lift with 33's

Question

I just got a 2004 chevy colorado z71 crew cab and I was wondering if there is a lift out for it yet or if there is one coming out soon.

The best I've seen for newer trucks is Pro Comp. Just my opinion.

My opinion is that you should go with a RCD lift. I've had both lifts and RCD is by far a better lift. One of the major problems that I had was my steering was always off and my iderler arm bushing would need to be replaced all the time. I dont have these problems with RCD. Just my 2 cents

Find the latest "Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off-Road" magazine. There's a suspension supertest article using nine major brand lift kits. Here's what it shows. BEST PRICED- 1st: Trail Master, 2nd: Skyjacker and 2nd runner up: Superlift. BEST LIGHT TRAIL DUTY- 1st: CST, 2nd: Superlift and 2nd runner up: RCD. BEST HAULER- 1st: Rough Country, 2nd:RCD and 2nd runner up: Superlift. BEST IN SAND/HIGH SPEED- 1st: CST, 2nd: Superlift and 2nd runner up: RCD. And lastly, MOST OFF-ROAD WORTHY UNDERCARRIAGE- 1st: Rancho, 2nd: Rough Country and 2nd runner up: RCD. It also has other useful info. (as always) and I chosed the above with the 's. It's either Superlift or RCD.

Talking Rcd

I have an 05 extended cab Z71 with a 6" RCD with 35" Procomp Mud terrains. I love it. No problems. It handles great and look bad ***. They also dont have to cut as much with the RCD as opposed to the Pro comp. I had mine done at my dealership. I got the lift, rims tires, side steps, and hypertech power programmer 3 for $5300 without canceling any warranty. worth it for me.
