I would change temp sensor.. the one beside thermostat housing.
Reading -22 degrees ecu adding more fuel.
Cost 10 bucks change it then see/ get it out of the equation.
Have had them go bad with .. no codes.

Ok ... take a look at your injectors. Should be a nice cone shape pattern.
Look for any drops in or around cone pattern. Are you sure your check engine light is working.
Maybe bad 02 sensor. Any leaks around tbi gaskets?

    Welcome to the forum elboriqua.

    Little confused here...you used a OBD-II scanner on OBD-I truck ?
How do you know check engine light works ?
If flooding, would think you would get a code for too rich.
Suggest you pull codes with a paperclip, so you are sure.

Poor grounds can do this several ways.
Can cause static in IC mod which computer thinks wants more gas.
Can cause poor signal from TPS looking like accelerating.
This comes more to mind because of guage failures.
Does volt guage read correctly ?

Could be caused by vac leak but would think disconnecting MAP
    would have caught that.

Any recent work or mods to truck ?

As chevychase said check the injector spray pattern.
Could be leaky or might be signal wire shorting to ground.

    Flooding

I know what you mean by using the obd 2 but it work i even pull the engine scan. i just got to lock up the number that it gave me on all the sensors. I did the paper clip before i use the scaner and all i got was the dignastic code 12. Theres no mod on the truck. i will start checking all the grounds and pull out the cluster gage to see if i find what is wrong there.

Cool, it's not an OBD2, it's a combo reader, have one of those.
I wouldn't go straight for the cluster, think what's common.

Closest ground I think is right at ALDL/OBD connector.
While your at it there's a ground on the frame rail under driver.
Common problem areas are front and rear of eng top, and the braids

Does the volt guage read correctly ?

Hello every body, i have been busy with work so i havent been able to worck on my truck. Hey crabtruck ill leave the cluster alone for now, and ill check all the ground conections towmorow. As it matterfac the volage gauge it reads way to hi if i remember it was around 18 to 19 volts. ill let you guys know if i find anything. Hey chevy chace The spray patern on my injector its an iven cone shape exept that when it idles the left side injector sprays more then the right one and when i open the throtle it looks more even.
