 | lifting my truck has anybody ever lifted a truck by changing out the torsion bar cam keys? is thiis wise to do? i have a 95 chevy 4x4 dually and want about a 2 1/2" lift. i don't want to get an after market lift cause they cost to much and i dont think i can haul any gooseneck trailers with it. |

| I have heard of doing something to the tortion bars but i cant remember exactly what and how it worked tho sorry i am not much help. |

| yea i have it on mine its nice just dont tighten down the bars all the way or it wont ride very good i also put 2 inch lifting blocks under the rear leaf springs its really nice you will have to get longer shocks though |

| go to fullsizechevy.com click on tech articles, then scrol down till it says lifting you 88+ or something...it has the part number and directions on how to switch to the ford torsion bar key or a stiffer chevy key |
