87' Silverado R10, injection question...

I'm looking to make my 87' Silverado faster, would i be better off to leave the stock throttle body on it or change it out for an Edelbrock Carb?

I would think you would get the same, if not less, power with a carb of equal cfm as the TBI and a decrease in mileage. The TBI is limited but efficient for its intended purpose. You'd need a bigger carb and all the matching components to allow for better breathing and more power--a carb swap alone won't do it.
