| i have a 1984 chevy s10 4x4 with a 2.8 and want to swap in a 350 small block.i was wondering if it will bolt up to the stock 4 speed manual transmision without changing the bell housing. Last edited by s10owner; 03-20-2005 at 01:23 PM. |

| could i just look for a bellhousing for a 4.3 or will i have to swap the whole drive line. |

| I am in the process of doing a swap in my 1991 S10. Although I started with a 4.3 / 700R4. Unless you really want to stay with your stick, I would think about using a 700R4. You can try to find a 5spd out of a 4.3. | I alredy have the motor out of a truck that i wrecked. i have the tranny that was in it but it is automatic.would it be easyer andcheper to change my truck over to auto or to by a 350 turbotranny from a junkyard. |
