Truck died to today help please

i was in the mountains today fishing and my truck died on me luckly enough i got it off the road using the e brake. i turned it on again and it died about 30 seconds later. i let it sit for about 10 then i tried again and it ran for about 2 or 3 min then it died again..so i went to turn it on again and there was no power nothing i had no lights no clock no horn no hazards. it had gas and the volts were at 13 1/2 so it want that i just dont know what it was. i have been having problems with my tail lights the driver side would burn out every 2 months. im not sure what happend so if anyone has any ideas because i have a dead chevy and it is sad. please help

Try cleaning your battery terminals and checking your cables to and from your starter/alternator/battery. Or you can try goin through your fuses, sometimes it's as dumb as that...

i got it the bolt going into the batt came out and went back in crooked so it looked like it was in but it wasnt so thanks for your help
