my chevy p/u is running crazy

this sounds weird but my chevy 89 2500 4x4 5.7L (350) starts fine every morning. but when i drive it somewhere and turn it off and it sits longer then 20 minutes when i try to restart it will start but wont idle. it also when i push the gas as this is happing it will misfire and stumble and actlike its choked. except its tbi so i dont think there is a choke so im in need of desprate help. i tuned it up and replaced the tps and it still runs like **** every time i restart in the afternoon or any time for that matter someone plz help i need my truck

Sounds like fuel, or an electrical shortage. I'd say run a fuel cleaner and see what that does. It doesn't hurt to try...Good luck!

i used heet and injector cleaner it didnt help however when its acting this way the exaust smells really fueled up. like its not getting enough air ir mabye its not enough spark none the less this problem has gotten porgressively worse over the last 3 months and now its stalling at stoplights i just dont get it this truck has allways been strong!!

i finally figured it out tested the map sensor and ecm and both tested fine so got a fuel pressure tester and only got 5 psi max book says it needs 9-13 psi i think i figured it out so if anyone has this problem mabye u can get some help from this thanks for your help too ford4x4chik27...
