| the Voltant (SP) serves as the best cold air intake in my opinion, since it is a true cold air intake and not just with some pipe with a K&N air filter hanging off the end of it in the hot engine compartment |

| I hate to admit it, but my brother is a smart person. He was a Maintenance Crew Chief in the Air force He worked on the big ones c-141's He went to Australia with NASA to set up the radar tracking station when we (USA) went to the moon. He has an old saying. No one knows how to make any machine run better than the man who designed it. I also have an old saying, when a person removes OEM parts and installs aftermarket parts to improve performance, they are throwing away valuable engineering that they paid for when they baught the vehicle. Keep your old OEM filter, its the best. But thats just my opinion, what ever turns your crank you know! |

| So are you trying to say there is no room for improvement? I have to throw a flag on the field on that last comment. Always room for improvement. The disigner designes a vehicle to fit alof of needs, You can customize it to fit your performance needs by making performance upgrades. Just cause its factory design doesnt make it the best design.

| i'm gthrow a flag to. but are we challenging his call (red flag)or are calling a penalty (yellow), well either way. i agree with ya Cg, when the vehicles are designed, they are designed to meet several needs, so, when stock, they dont necessarily perform as good as they could, because they are also designed to meet fuel economy standards (as best as posible)... that takes away from alot of the performance. i'm thinkin this may not make any since to any1, but i know what i'm sayin in my head

| my 2 cents Yeh but your forgetting that the auto manufactures are in bed together with the gas companiesand the government and have been for years. Thats why there have been several inventions to improve milage but you will never see it happen, so I'm saying there is room for improvement but you also get what you pay for. You but cheap add on products and thats what you get |
