Hard steering problem

I have a 2004 Silverado with 5000 miles on it. Within the last couple of days I have been noticing that the truck was hard to turn left. Turning right is fine. Has anyone else experience this or know what could be the problem.
Thanks

It's got 5k on it, and it's a 2004, aren't you still under warranty? Take it back to the dealer and let them fix it!

take it back to the dealership. there is a recall on the steering shaft on a lot of chevy trucks and suv's. that might solve your problem. if not, you've got a warranty!
