| As for finding parts, try a junk/wrecking yard...as for value..well, I'm the wrong person to answer that

| Whoa there killer, you had the engine bored to 396? How , explain you bore and stroke. 388 is a 350 .060 over with 400 crank . Any bigger bore and you have dangerously thin cylinder walls and will have overheating problems. Maybe you should check with the machine shop and find out exactly what your bore and stroke are. |

| 932500 is correct. Here are the facts,,,,A small block chevy bored .040 is a 355. You have to stroke it to get over a 358 without going with some crazy off the wall bore over .060. Even with a 400 crank you are still only lookin at a 385 with a .040 bore. 396 from a small block chevy 350. I dont think so. Hope this helps. Dont tell everyone you have a 396, cause when you pop the hood and they see a small block, you are gonna catch some **** from the guys that know.
