| Frontend Shake First of all, I did do a search. I have a 2000 Chevy 1500 Silverado with 92.000 miles on it. I recently had the tires rotated and balanced. When I hit about 60 to 75 miles per hour my steering wheel starts to shake, not uncontrollably but it's noticible. It smooths out around 80mph. It did this before I had the tires rotated and balanced too. Any ideas? thanks, John |

| Wow it could be a world of things... first of all is it 2wd or 4wd? I'm guessin it could be a half shaft, steering stabilizer, bad brakes, front driveline..... good luck!

| Warped brake rotors only cause shakes when braking, It cant be the half shaft either as it is a chevy and a busted half shaft would be real appearent with IFS, and the front driveshaft wont cause this unless it is in 4 wheel drive, or the actualot in the front diff has gone south in the engaged position. I would start checking for bent rims and out of round tires which the tire shop should have noticed both.Check front wheel bearings as well.. Sorry ford chick not triying to be mean, just trying to help, let me know what you find and we can investigate further if needed..
