If they are close in price and one is older and rusty then I'd go for the newer one. But 150,000 miles is not just a few. Depends on how it was cared for. If the first vehicle can be had cheap and really has a well rebuilt engine and all you're going to do is icy work and not use it for a DD then I agree with chevyguy.

If you're gonna use it as a DD until the salt gets it then go with the newer one. You'll do the right thing.

Ok I am pretty sure my uncle is gonna give me a great deal on a small 2 door car for day to day use and I would only use the truck for hauling so I think that the older turck would be a better deal? Is $1,500 a good deal for it?

And howmany miles do you think I will get out of it the rebuild was done in a shop by a mechanic?

Sounds fair if it runs and drives good. Does the 4 wheel drive work properly

Not sure about that or the heater I am going to go look at it later today an probably will come back wiht it.

Its in the shop having a drive shaft put in so I could not go see it today and it has an alwasy 4 wheel drive. That is in working condition. The heater works as well.
