| Ahh ok, I can imagine it must be a pain to get the gaskets to stay in place putting that head back on

| Yes I plan on doing the work my self I just need to know how much time it will take to complete. I am not positive that the head gaskets are to blame for the problem but it dont heart to replace them anay ways. |

| it's not the fact that they are the problem, but it's pretty well a rule of thumb that when u take off anything major on the engine to replace the gaskets, around here anyways.....

| Yes, do not reuse gaskets.. the only exception I have ever made was header gaskets (header pipes to head.. exhaust)

| it also depends on the gasket type though, some of the high-dollar gaskets are meant to be re-used and are made of metal, or at least have some in it, no necesarilly solid metal, these last longer than the rubber or paper gaskets

| Did You Check The Spark Plugs They My Tell You What Vacinity The Leak Is In, Especially If Ther Is Condensation On Them. At Least This Will Point To What Side The Leak Is On. If The Engine Has Never Been Rebuilt And You Find The Problem Is In The Heads Or The Head Gasket Maybe Rebuild The Top Since You Will Already Have The Top End Apart.
