| power steering some times my steering jerks to one side when going around a bend on my 1998 z71 chevy any info ?....... thank you ....pete |

| Do you have stock size tires on it, or larger. You might need a stabilizer if you have bigger tires. Or you could have a belt slipping in one of the tires. Does it do it when turning left, right or both directions?

| Mine does that to hey my 98 does that too i just bought new tires today and i havent drove it enough for it to do it but i used to have 32X11.50X15's and i changed the torsion keys so i have about a 2....2 1/2 inch lift but im not sure if it was the tires or the lift |

| z71 steering everything on my 98 chevy is stock tires are good i still think it is in the steering box maybe the valve is sticking ?? ......pete ok i think i have found it it is the evo sensor it is located on the steering column near the brake paddle it controls the pump pressure to the speed you drive Last edited by vanhal; 11-27-2005 at 06:12 PM. |

| ok guys i got it fixed it is the EVO sensor it is located on the column neer the brake peddle it cost about 60 bucks and 45 min. to install i did it my self it was easy must undo the battery for about 1 hr. before so as not to set off the air bag remove one 15 mil bolt and slide the shaft down and the ring is held in place with 3 clips |
