| My son has a 93 c1500 p/u, that the motor shut off when it feels like it. At first he replace the rotor/cap, then when it would shut down, it would start back up. No gas coming out of the TBI, he replaced the fuel and it worked fine for a day or so, then the problem came back. We were told by a local mechanic to replace the oil pressure sending unit, becuase it has a fuel shut off relay in it. Replace the sending unit, cleared the code out of the computer, started the truck, it ran fine until yesterday. The truck shut down and wouldn't restart, code 54 was back. Any clues before it has to go to Chevy (bucks $$$).

| Oh let me look tonight at my diagnostic chart and I will get back to you. Cade 54 doesnt ring a bell right off. I cant remember for sure but Idle air control comes to mind, but I cant remember for sure if it is 51 or 54. I will let you know tomorrow.

| My scanner book says low fuel pump voltage, fuel pump relay, erg soleniod #2, quad driver module (qdm) output failure, mixture control (m/c) solenoid circuit voltage too high. We also replaced the fuel pump relay.

| Problem solved, it was the control module on the distributor
