Engine ID

Can anyone decode this engine code or recomend a good web site. VO104TPA, I'm told its a 350?

I cannot decode that info, I can however decode the casting number s on the rear of the block behind the drivers head. If you look straight down just in from of where the transmission bolts to the block there are some numbers. Give me those numbers and I can tell you what year and what cubic inch motor it is.

Go to cac@chevrolet.com and request info on your particular truck and they will send you EVERYTHING on your truck you could possibly need to know as it was when it left the factory. It's called a "restoration packet" and comes from Chevy. Just make sure to give them you truck's basic infor and vin #. Hope this helps!

Wont help if the motor has been changed.
