2005 HD front bumper cap question

I have a new 2005 2500HD (less than 3000 miles) and the ends of the black front bumper cap are warping outward. Now that I'm looking for it, I see that this is happening to most of the HD's I see on the road. I took mine to the dealer and called Chevy's Customer Assistance line, but have been told that they will not fix it because it's a "Normal Characteristic" of the truck. The ends have warped out about 1/2" on both sides. Does anyone know what can be done about this? Have other owners taken their trucks into their dealers and been told the same line? This doesn't say much for Chevy quality or Chevy's bumper to bumper warranty.

I would complain. Persistance my friend. Never give up. You paid for a new truck and should have one. If you accept that they will get away with it, If you are a thorn in their rear then they will eventually have to give you service. Get the managers number and call him multiple times each day to ask about when hes gonna replace you bumper fairing. At least they should give you a new one,

A "warp" is a "natural characteristic of the truck"?!??! Thats the most obsurd and bogus like I think Ive ever heard. I cant believe you didnt laugh in their face! I certainly would have....somebody would have had to pick me up off the floor.

I would write to the company. Keep complaining and complaining until something is done. Thats insane... if they continue to not do anything thats something almost worth a good lawsuit over. I guarantee people would join you. You pay money for a new truck and warping is "normal" and supposedly acceptable to them?!?! BS!
