93 silverado 1500 power door locks

was replacing the passenger side window motor and shorted out the power window locks...thought it might be a fuse, but do not know...locks will not work(from either side -- I assume that they only work together. What do I need to do to fix? I was going to just live with it, but I think that it is draining my battery...is that possible?

Please help if you can...

Yeah if you damaged some of the insulation on one of the wires and it is causing a short.

Is there anyway to remove a fuse or otherwise disable the power locks and just operate the locks manually? I do not believe that there is stripped insulation (I could be wrong)...how do I diagnose?

Open up the door panel and get in there with a multimeter, if it is shorted them, just unplug the switch until you get a new actuator.
