Yes there are thousands of lifts, Need to know if you have a 4 wheel drive. You can add 1-2 inches just by adjusting the torsion bars up. Dont recommend using this to gain alof of lift, Because your ride quality will decrease more and more the more you crank on the torsion bar keys.

I think your ride quality decreases regardless of the way you do a lift

Talking lifting your truck

I got about 5 inches on my truck by changing the torsion bars to the next step up I also put 185/70R16's on which filled up the wheel wells. I tried the turning of the torsion bar bars and let me tell you it was good and bad. Bad because the ride suffered and the tire wore really bad and good because my wife wouldn't ride in the truck. Now the truck sits nice and rides nice.

Body lift always looks really bad on these trucks. Ride quality can be improved with the right lift, so no D.C maybe you have ridden in lifted trucks with cheaper quality lift kits. On the 5 inch lift with torsion bars, I was wondering what torsion bars you used, Didnt that put the front end geometry out of limits? 5 inches without dropping the differential would wear hard on the cv shafts. Can you post more info on your lift and maybe some pics. I have 285/70-16 on my truck before installing any lift, this is why I am wondering. But back tpo the origional question, yes there are 1-2 inch suspension lifts that wont affect ride quality. If you use a quality kit and dont just max out the torsion keys you will gain height and possibly increase your ride quality. This is why I like these chevys, You dont have to install stiff heck springs like you do on other makes to get lift.

Actually its not just me...and theres been all types of lifts used at all different price ranges from everybody I know who's used one. Its common sense and fact (and a common topic among the lifted truckers) that if you jack something up way high you're not going to get a smooth ride. I dont see sports cars riding high do you?
Thanks though....
