| Need some help... I have had two windshield replacements over the last 2 years. Since my last replacement, after heavy rain or snow I have a sizeable amount of water on the passenger floor. Does anyone think this is just a bad windshield replacement or is a drain clogged? Beside this, I love this truck!!!! |

| 2000 z71 Thanks for the welcome. It is nice to know as many people love their chevy as much as I do. Im not sure it is coming from the windshield. All I know is that it was leaking before the windshield install and it is after....what is a good way to isolate the issue to a certain point of entry? Thanks for your help! |

| I had a K5 Blazer (1991) several years ago and the drain plug for the AC evaporator became plugged. It leaked inside on the passenger front floor board. To isolate your leak, I would get my trusty garden hose out and start with running water down the cowl (grill area between the hood and windshield) area first. If nothing appears after a few minutes, let dry and start hosing down the windshield. If still nothing I would start looking under the dash (e.g. the evaporator coil). Good luck. |

| I agree with shopratles keep the water off the windshield at first just soak the grill area below the wipers stay away from the windshield seal soak it for like 5 10 minutes if you dont get any water start on the winshield lower corners first then the lowermiddle then work your way up the sides just do one area at a time then check inside the truck this should help you pinpoint your problem this info comes from my buddy who owns a windshield glass shop. |

| Ive known two different cars that leaked water into the passenger floor when it rained. Neither was caused by the windshield. If it was doing it before your windshield fix...its most likely something else. I agree with the guys about runing a hose on the car....probably easiest way to find out where the waters getting in.

| you could also use a soapy, yet watery substance, and put it in the general are, and look for bubbling action
