| Silverado oil change message on display I can't clear the "change oil" message on the digital display. The manual says to use the selector switch, which I presume to be the button the dash display, but it transfers to hours and then to miles. Help! And thanks. MN Indy |

| my friend had that same prob with his 02 silverado... it stayed up after he changed the oil, so he just ignored it. he took his truck to a mechanic later for something unrelated and they turned it off for him. i dont know all that much about newer model trucks, sorry i cant be any more help, but it shouldnt be too much of a worry

| Turn the key to the on position engine not running and stomp the gas pedal to floor and release three times in five seconds and then the oil light with flash to confirm it was reset. It will still flash for the next couple of start ups then your all set. |
