as far as that syringe method, you can just buy whats called a pressure pot, and that does the same thing, but it's prolly easier than a syringe. the only problem though is the system has to be reverse-bleedable.....most car systems have valves or something that keep em from bein bled that way

Negative johansen^^^^ for the hydraulic system to work it must be able to return fluid to the reservior from the slave cylinder as well as from the reservior to the slave cyl. Otherwide it would just hold constant pressure when you depress the clutch and it would not release. just like brakes. If the fluid couldnt return from where it came from they could only work once.

bad news. Happened to me in traffic, but it was a manual clutch, and it just engaged and the truck too off, i shut it diwn befire I hit anything thankfully. The cotter pin the kept the linkage together under the dash broke so the pedal went to the floor and the truck just took off.

Happened to me as well. Master cylinder went out and I was in the middle of stop and go traffic in a big city. Talk about people giving you looks when you have to shut the truck off at every light, then put it in gear and watch it roll about 5 feet before it finally fires taking off immediately. Good times.... yeah good times..

Broken clutch cable. I had to go thru downtown New orleans starting it with the trans in gear when the lights turned green. Fun times
