| Bleeding The Clutch? How do you bleed the clutch on a 95 chevy K/1500? And is the slave cylinder concentric or external? |

| I believe that the slave cylinder is external. I've always bled them the same way you bleed brakes. Start by gravity bleeding it, then pump the pedal several times and open the bleeder screw on the slave. You have to be careful to keep an eye on the fluid level though. It is a much smaller master cylinder so be sure to keep it full. Hope this helps.

| We are trying this but we can't get out clutch to bleed. We pump the clutch and open the bleed valve some fluid comes out. Then we pump up again and open the valve and nothing comes out. The clutch has no resistance at all. It is almost like there is a leak. We replaced the clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. |

| I have had to use a syringe and push it in from the bottom on several occasions with these newer hydraulic systems.

| I use an old syringe and attach a hose. Push fluid up the system thru the bleeder. It gets fluid in there and moving. Great way to start if you cannot get it to bleed.

| I had the same issue with my 94 K1500. I didnt do the syringe thing like CG said but I spent about twenty minutes with my brother pumping and holding the clutch to the floor then open the bleeder screw. before that I kept the top off the master and rapidly pumped the clutch (which had no resistance at all) with my hands and could here air in my master cylinder and see bubbles coming up from the line. once that stopped I just kept filling it up . put the cover on it . pumped clutch held it to the floor and kept bleeding and filling. Now I think CG's way would have been much easier if for some reason you have a syringe laying around LOL. |

| Well if you can get it to start by pumping it , it is easier. If it wont start then the syringe method works
