 | Transmission ? Hi all im new to this group guess ill jump rite in with my first question i just bought me a ol 1988 cheyenne pick up with the 4.3 k im gonna service the transmission on it and im wondering if some one would tell me if the tranny is a t400 or ? it's a 3 speed auto and it does have the modulator valve any help would be great....Thanks |

 | its more then likely a turbo 350. If the tranny pan is square it is a th350

| Look at the pan and go to one of the performance (summit racing ) websites and look at the aftermarket pans and find your shape and bolt pattern of your there with an explination as to what it is. Great way for a novice to be sure.
