1989 350 to another vehicle

I am building a 1948 jeep and want to use my 1989 350 as the motor. Does anyone know where to get information on what wiring is needed to be kept on the throttle body. Maybe an understandable wiring diagram or maybe instructions for doing this. I have the 1989 repair manual and am trying to figure it out with this, but I don't want to cut any needed wires when removing it.

if the 350 is fuel injected and not carberated you may have to use the computer that is in the chevy ... because you need the electronics
why not use a carb. may work ....just my 2 cents worth ok .....pete

I built a 67 jeep with a chevy 350 in it a short time back. i used fuel injection first off, but wanted more fule flow and top end so i opted for carb to run out in the sand dunes. If you want the fuel injection remove it from the truck and take the computer and harness with it. Or look into holley projection.

if it's throttle body injected you might be able to swith the intake manifold with a 350 carb manifold. I did that last year with an 89 4.3 to put it in an 86 carbed truck. Some sensors have to be changed/plugged but it runs great!
