Putting a 98 front clip on my 93 work truck

I have a 93 GMC work truck, and I absolutly hate the way it looks,

I have painted it and it still make me sick. I want to put a 98 front clip on it. I have the grill, I am just wondering if I have to change my wiring to make the rectangle headlights work?

Has anyone done this? thanks, let me know what I need to do and also if you have parts #'s that will help alot too. thanks!!!!

i've never tried it but....i had a friend that put the lights off of an 89 on a 70 model (looked pretty cool!!!!) and everything worked properly and he wired it himself, so if you have the harness or the wiring off the new grille just wire it in to your existing harness and i bet it will work just fine.the 89 grille is set up the same way, it just has dual sealed beam lights on each side so i would imagine you can wire the composites up just the same. good luck
