wow big boo boo

i checked the firing order on that 1995 chevy silverado But still not starting but turning over ! Went to try it again back fired through the carb and blew out the valve cover and shot the pvc out the top of the valve cover MAN I NEVER SEEN ANY THING LIKE IT Blew out the side of the valve cover Is it safe to say it jumped time???? Got to get new valve covers now! help!!!!!!
