2004 TBI Replaced!!

Found out yesterday the throttle body on my 2004 5.3 chevy was replaced at 6000 miles .It was before I owned the truck,I found out about it when I checked the carfax on the truck,it didn't say why.Has anyone had any problems with theres or know of any recalls?

Thanks,

Is there a problem with it? If not then why worry about it. You probally had a faulty unit.

if its running great dont worry about it. nothing to stress over. who knows it could have easily been a simple fault at the start and its already been dealt with!

You most likely have what they call drive by wire meaning there is no cable between the throttleboby and gas pedal. Yes there have been a very few problems with the actuator that actualy opens the throttle on the tbi and a few wiring problems near the throttlebody. If you do have a cable at the throttlebody there have been a few fixes for sticking throttle and some dealers just replace them instead of correcting the problem. No recalls or major problems though.
