2003 Silverado Wont Start

Hay All,
I have a 2003 Silverado 5.3L v-8 that wont start. I was driving it and it was low on fuel but not out(the light just came on) and the truck died. I coasted to the shoulder and it has not started since. I have full power meaning all the bells, lights, cd/radio, door chimes all work. When the key is turned to start it I get nothing. I tried changing the starter relay and got no difference. Is there a reset somewhere that Im not finding? I got a couple of mechanics telling me to check my security/alarm that there is some way this can keep it from starting. I had it towed and it is at my house but I have tried for three days now and not been able to dtermine why it wont start....... Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check your fuel filter. If it was low it could be clogged with the trash from the bottom of the tank killing fuel pressure. Hope this helps.

Would that keep it from turning over? It is not even trying to start................Truck has 48k, fuel filter was replaced at 25k.

Anything............

What else is between my ignition and my starter besides the starter relay that would keep it from turning over?

Have fuel pressure and spark..........

Reset switch/button anywhere?

I don't know if there is anything between the ign sw ans the solenoid but you are on the right track. Check with a Library and see if they have a wiring diagram to help you troubleshoot.

Get in try to start it then see if you have a security light that lights up flashes or stays on and let me know. Also does the service engine soon light come on with key on?

I would try to jump it down at the starter and see if it would crank and run.
That is a strange problem you have. *scratchs head*
Also check the battery terminals. They can make up enough to give power but now enough amps to turn one over.

Thanks for the replies but Im still trying. I put in 5 Gal of gas to make sure it wasn't empty......No difference....... I tried jump starting it from the battery terminals with my Jeep and got nothing. The security light does flash when the key is turned on but just for a moment, and no the service engine soon light is not on............. I tried ******* witht he sucurity system last night andit seems to be working properly. I was able to set off the alarm and do the tests listed in the owners manual with no problems or issues........Even if the fuel pump was not working wouldn't it still at least try to start? I have now pulled and checked every fuse I could find and didnt find any blown..............
