93 silverado starting issues
I have an early model year 94 (93 parts) 5.7L silverado 2WD sputtered then stalled and will not start again.
Changed the ignition module, which registered low RPM on test. Still will not start. Turns over fine.. just wont catch. Bought the fuel filter tonight, but ran out of daylight to continue. Any other ideas of what could be the problem? signed... missing my 72 chevy... (so much easier to fix) |

Check for codes on the computer. I bet you have captured a code. And waht does wont catch mean? Is it getting fuel and fire? Need more info to help you out here.

I would just look and see if the injectors are spraying while cranking, It beats using ether on your motor.

ok this is the first chance I have gotten to look back here to answer everyone.
yes it was getting spark.. fuel was available only sometimes if that makes sense... So I ended up replacing the ignition module... relay switch... fuel filter.. and it was still pumping gas ...sometimes... so I dropped the tank and replaced the pump as well and its finally running. What a seriously long day. |
