| 96 transmission Question I have 96 Chevy PU. 4.3 liter v6 with 5 speed trans. Can someone tell me how to disconnect the hydraulic line that goes to the slave cylinder. It goes inside the bell housing and I don't know how to disconnect. |

| You need to pull the trans to access it If my memory serves me correctly.

| The connection if I remember right is just before it goes into the bellhousing . The line just gets fatter and the plastic black line has a white piece made at the fitting which is the tool to remove the line. You just push the lines together and then push the white plastic piece it all the way around which releases the line. Kinda hard to explain but I hope this helps. |
